Rumi's New Flat Part 4

Moved Rumi back into the front part of the garage till his room is completely done. More work begins today. My son, Kyle Kratzer will be making him an area for him to lay down in, Paul’s installing the 3 fans that were donated by Carin Nelson. The AC that was donated to us Krishna Jafa and given to us at a discounted rate will be here soon. Once that’s in Rumi will be set for the summer. Danni Petersen, will be here this Saturday and She is going to be giving Rumi his summer buzz cut. It’s all falling into place and I am feeling more at ease. Thank you to everyone who has made this happen for this boy. He has brought so much love and generosity to Karuna.

The project complete. Rumi saying thanks to Patrick who refuses to be in a pic or a video and Sally just loving on him. Then Rumi so gently steps over Cooper in that small little space and walks away towards his paddock. These horses that come to Karuna are so much like dogs. Life without them wouldn’t be the same. Rumi's New Flat Part 1

Rumis new flat!! Day 1. Thank you Marty for helping me today. We are going to create a new outdoor space for Rumi so that he can live with the herd this winter. Right now we are just clearing up pathways so he can have access to roam free with the big fellows. His space for right now is going to be suited for the winter months. We may add on to it for the summer but not sure yet. Rumi needs the herd to heal and to be able to live like a horse. We need help with funding this project. Some of the materials are not listed below like the flooring and the shelter. The initial project has to be started within the next month because the Boy Scouts of America are donatiing their time to put in the posts for us. If you would like to contribute towards Rumis new pad you can make donations through the donate button , PayPal or via checks. All donations are tax deductible. Thank you in advance.

$2000 for materials and supplies is what’s estimated as of now. Hopefully we can get most of the materials freeor at a discounted rate. If we do get the materials for free we would gladly return all donations that will be sent for Rumis living space.
